Sprayberry Swim & Dive

   2008-2009 Program Introduction

Upon making the team swimmers & divers will be expected to pay team dues & meet their family fundraising commitment.

Important information and upcoming dates:

-          Season dues = $ 175.00 or 150.00/Year round

o       Dues cover swim meet entry fees, swim cap, practice lane rental, snacks for all meets, several season functions, use of team warm-up, team equipment as required, swimmer/diver banquet & award fees.

o       Payment is due at the Kick-off meeting.

-          Family fundraising commitment of $100 booster club contribution through Team sponsorship sales, Sprayberry athletics’ car raffle ticket sales & additional fundraising opportunities during the year.

-          The board would like to have a parent volunteer to represent the dive team during the season for hospitality at meets, team parent communication, etc.  Contact any board member or coach if interested.

-          Team meeting will be scheduled soon after school begins to distribute Car Raffle tickets and related sales information be looking for details. 

-          There will be a mandatory kick-off meeting after completion of team tryouts in the SHS Commons for all swimmers, divers and their parents for

o       Official team recognition and introduction of coaches and board

o       Distribution of team information packets, season schedule, team expectations

o       Swimmer registration

o       Payment of team dues

o       Volunteer sign-up for parents – meets
